Isaiah Granado is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Pico Rivera, CA who attends Downey. Medium frame, showing a high waist and a very lean build. 8.01 60-yd. In the outfield, trusted his arm showing loose actions and compact release after fielding with two hands in the middle of his body. Offensively works with the hands high and a toe tap as the backside pushes into contact. Hands go directly to the ball looking to line balls to the opposite field. As a pitcher, the hands worked down to the waist with a high front knee kick allowing him to stay in line as he worked down the hill. Landed with the front hip open and have the backside get through on the finish. Fastball (up to 74 MPH) was worked to the top of the zone with some cutting action while the change-up showed a big armside run. The curveball has an 11/4 shape showing a small drop on the glove side. Good academic student.
