Jacob Swain is a 2026 SS/RHP/3B/OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Cypress, TX. Posted a 7.19 in the 60 yard dash, athletic build with some upside as he progresses. Primary SS, makes good reads with a quick first step. Moves well to both sides and good glove skill present, solid range and body control with good carry on the bag on his throws. In the outfield he did a good job staying in his lower half and receives smooth. Covers solid ground and gets downhill. Limited intent on the throws but has potential to form an effective arm tool. Also pitched, the right-hander topped the fastball out at 73 mixing a loose breaking ball at 64. He repeated his simple delivery well with a fluid arm action. Slight drop in the backside and drive working down the mound. Has a good idea with some moving pieces to put together. Right-handed hitter, starts wide and gets squared to swing, some timing established with good rhythm at the plate. Flatter path through the zone but good feel for the barrel. Good potential as a hitter with added strength and control.
