Alexander Capellan is a 2021 1B/3B, OF with a 5-9 164 lb. frame from Perth Amboy, NJ who attends Perth Amboy HS. Recorded a 7.73 second 60-yard dash time. Some strength to the build with room for additional projection. Primary first baseman with a short arm action and deliberate actions. Waits on the ball with clean transfers through the turn. Arm strength currently developing. Secondary outfielder with a compact arm stroke and uphill throws. Works through the motion well and will improve with added reps at the position. Righthanded hitter with a narrow and closed start, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Level swing plane and can work to the opposite field. Gets the barrel out and has a contact oriented stroke.
