Richard Stanya is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Manorville, NY who attends Eastport-South Manor HS. Recorded a 7.60 second 60-yard dash time. Long, young build with a lanky frame and lots of room to fill out. Primary outfielder with a funnel off to the side and a longer arm stroke. Halts momentum early but shows deliberate actions throughout with throws recorded up to 78 mph. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a simple, easy operation. Slow side step into the balance point with a high three-quarters arm slot. Gets downhill and fills the zone up. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open start, inside hand path, and a compact stroke. Pulls hands in and shoots the barrel out. Some feel for contact and power will improve with added strength. Great student.
