Brayden Gum is a 2023 3B/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Millard North. Medium build with plenty of time and room to get stronger. Primary third baseman who graded out higher as a pitcher at this event. Up tempo delivery on the mound, could get his hips turned better, compact arm action with a high 3/4's release, consistent in his release point. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, worked down in the zone well and threw lots of strikes with his fastball. Slow curveball has good 11/5 shape and depth, also threw strikes with it. Right handed hitter, hand hitch load with his leg lift, tends to cast his hands out and cast the barrel, arm heavy swing that can use more lower half, pull side contact. 8.48 runner in the sixty.
