Kenneth O. Fontanez is a 2021 OF/C with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Carolina, PR who attends Luz A Calderon. Medium frame with a lean build showing some room to fill down the road. Ran a 7.38 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, sitting back on the baseball as he makes sure he keeps it in front of him. Clean gather as he works into transfers. Takes time & makes sure he transfers it cleanly. Compact arm action as he went on to show some carry to throws. Low, hard throws that are online as he threw it 84 MPH in drills. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a toe tap and lift to a belt high leg kick. Medium arm circle in the back before delivering from a high three-quarter slot. Smooth and easy mechanics as he went on to deliver downhill. Pounded the strike-zone and got ahead early. Fastball was up to 79 MPH with some arm-side run & also mixed in a two-seamer. Flashed a curveball with depth to it to compliment the fastballs. Right-Handed Hitter, starting from an even, relaxed stance. Lower hand load with a short stride. Lets the baseball get deep before he drops the barrel on the baseball. Middle-Away approach.
