Dominic Davis is a 2022 1B/OF with a 6-6 188 lb. frame from Danville, CA who attends Monte Vista. Extra-large frame with good room to fill out throughout. Ran an 8.34 second 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, shows good footwork around the bag in positioning himself well to receive and adjusting to hops well while showing good accurate throws to bags during drills. Also worked out in the outfield, shows sound footwork there as well working through the ball with good momentum and showing a clean release and throws to bags. Right-handed hitter, swings with high intent and works hard to lift the ball at impact; has good strength to the swing, but can get inconsistent with the swing path and timing. Projects well with the combination of present strength and physical upside. Good student.
