Chris Suter is a 2021 RHP/MIF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Stamford, CT who attends Rye Country Day. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Righthanded pitcher, begins with a side step moving into delivery, high leg lift up past belt with a slight gather on backside; full hand path, short and online arm action through the back working to a three-quarters release point, loose and quick arm through the back. Works on top of fastball, mostly true in life with some ride and occasional sink to it, gets rotational at release occasionally. Fading life to changeup down in the zone up to 74 mph, repeats release well on it; curveball shows short 11-5 with depth and some bite to it when on top. Worked around zone, good athlete and fields position well. Very good student. Named to Fall Connecticut Top Prospect List.
