Devin Bell is a 2022 2B/RHP/IF with a 6-2 145 lb. frame from La Grande, OR who attends La Grande. Taller frame with a lean build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary second baseman with clean, smooth paced footwork while surrounding the baseball. Funnels out front and work through exchange well. Released from a lower three-quarters arm slot creating occasional carry to the bag at 70 mph. Right handed hitter with an even, balanced stance. Looser hand path to baseball with a line drive barrel plane. Showed solid feel for the barrel with the bat head control to work to all fields. Also pitched utilizing a simple side step to leg lift delivery. Lands in line with front side with driving to the plate. Loose arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters slot. Fastball generated downhill plane through the zone in the mid 60's to low 70's, topped at 71 mph. Good student as well.
