Jorge Rosa is a 2020 C with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Humacao, PR who attends Petra Mercado Bougart. Medium athletic build with some present strength and more to come. 7.37 runner in the sixty. Sets up high behind the plate, over the top arm slot with downhill angle to his throws, repeats his lower half mechanics well shifting and throwing, will continue to improve defensively as he improves his lower half quickness and agility. Right handed hitter, hits from a pre-stride approach with a high hand load, hits tall with a line drive middle of the field to pull side swing approach, patient hitter in the games. Very good student.
