Kenet Quinones is a 2023 RHP/2B, SS, MIF, IF, OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Woodland Park, NJ who attends Passaic Co Tech. Compact and young frame, room to fill and plenty of time to fill out. Ran a 7.76 second 60 yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, takes his arm back to a loose arm action up to a 3/4 arm slot, attacks the zone and commands fairly well, fastball has armside run up to 74 mph, mixes in a curveball with 11-5 shape and hard biting action in the low-60s, flashed a changeup at 68 mph. Secondary infielder, worked out at the position staying low at gather, maintains balance throughout actions with the ability to throw with accuracy from multiple arm slots. Right-handed hitter, sets up at the plate with a narrow base and a high hand set, compact swing with bat speed and quickness to his hands, repeats swing well and power projects with maturity.
