2020 West Uncommitted Showcase (2020 Grads)
Vaughn Deming is a 2020 OF/C with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Santa Clara, UT who attends Snow Canyon. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran well in the 60 by clocking a 7.05 second time. Hits from open-based stance with lower set, quiet and relaxed approach, hands set deep and get deeper in load, can elevate and get the ball in the air, length to path at times, projects well for more power physically. Worked out in the outfield, longer strides to ball, shows solid balance and glove actions at the ball, long arm stroke with looseness, clocked up to 81 mph on throws. Very good student.
