Wilfredo Payano is a 2023 OF/ with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Santo Domingo, NC who attends Cenapec. Tall with long limbs and lots of room to fill out. A primary outfielder worked around the ball well, deliberate crow hop with balance, accurate throws to bases. The right-handed hitter uses a big leg lift and weight transfer to attack forward to the ball. Rotational swing to add bat speed, got the barrel out and showed the ability to pull. Wrists have some life and helped by hips that attack naturally. Added reps will continue to help the sum of the parts.
