Liam Taylor is a 2022 2B/RHP, SS, MIF, OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Edison. Medium build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.31 seconds. Primary 2B that showed some arm strength by hitting 80 MPH on his throws across the diamond. Also worked out in the OF where his throws reached up to 83 MPH. Hands work well when ranging to both sides of his body to field grounders. At the plate he hits out of an even stance and has a small leg lift trigger. Flashed some bat speed as well. On the mound his FB was working 79-81 MPH with minimal action but he hides it well throughout his delivery. Showed a CB at 74 MPH that has sweeping action. Also showed a CH at 76 MPH that he throws with the same arm speed as his FB which adds an element of deception. Great student.
