Tyler Johnson is a 2025 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-7 175 lb. frame from Tupelo, MS who attends Tupelo. Compact and strong build, especially in the lower half. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with an aggressive lower half shift into contact, swings hard and creates good present bat speed, nice extension through the ball, hard pull contact at times and should develop plenty of power. 8.90 runner in the sixty. Has good glove actions at third base on defense, arm works well from all arm slots. Also pitched, has a simple delivery with a high 3/4's arm slot, arm works well with good extension out front and some downhill angle to his pitches. Fastball topped out at 73 mph with some run and sink at times, some feel for his change up, flashed some spin on a soft curveball. Key to his development will be maintaining and increasing his lower half quickness and athleticism.
