Brian Caringal is a 2020 OF/ with a 5-10 156 lb. frame from Vacaville, CA who attends Davis. Athletic build and some good speed, running a 7.01 second sixty-yard dash. Sits back and waits for the ball in the outfield before fielding on the side of the ball. Developing feel for the position with some athleticism that fits the position. Has compact arm action from a three-quarters slot, and is still developing arm strength from the outfield. Accurate throws to bases at 67 miles per hour. Has a balanced and even stance at the plate with a simple leg lift trigger and rotational lower half. The high hand set and inside hand path leads to a line drive barrel approach. Looks to make hard contact back through the box, consistently working between the gaps.
