Jason Williams is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 5-2 113 lb. frame from Chubbuck, ID who attends Blackfoot. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to grow and develop moving forward. Ran an 8.23 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes short steps towards the ball, fields out front, works over front side at release and can continue to incorporate additional lower half into actions gets uphill at release occasionally, worked around the intended base with throws. Fields the ball out front with wide base and bent knees in the infield, young actions, works into a short arm action and is on top of throws across. Also pitched, works out of the stretch, leg lift in unison with hand break, gets tall on backside, long arm action through the back. Fastball topped out at 65 mph, pitched exclusively off of fastball, short life to arm side when down in the zone, pitched to contact and got mostly weak contact off the bat. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and lower back elbow at the plate with an even stance; hands start pulled back, long swing path through the zone working on a linear path through the zone. Strides into contact and creates some contact out front, timing components to swing, pull side contact when on time. Excellent student.
