Nigel Fodor is a 2023 RHP/3B/OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Southlake, TX who attends Carroll. Medium athletic build with some present strength. Turn and throw delivery with good direction to the plate, compact high 3/4's arm slot, low effort delivery, tends to not get over his front side on release. Fastball topped out at 70 mph, gets good sinking action at times. Has feel for landing a soft curveball and throws strikes with both pitches. Right handed hitter, hits from a square stance with a high hand set, short downward swing plane with mostly ground ball contact. 7.77 runner, played both infield and outfield, looked most comfortable in the outfield with developing arm strength at both positions, takes his time and makes accurate throws. Good student.
