Aidan Nye is a 2023 C/SS with a 5-6 142 lb. frame from Hegins, PA who attends Tri-Valley. Lean young build with long arms and legs. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight bent knee stance with a big and late leg lift load that can leave him late at times, has a smooth and loose swing when his foot gets down and he's on time, some lift out front for future power potential, hits to all fields. 8.28 runner, played both catcher and infield and looked more comfortable behind the plate. Receives the ball cleanly out front, high takeaway on his throws with a long and projectable arm action, will become more directional in his throwing and footwork with repetitions, developing arm strength. Very good student.
