Ryan Kaminski is a 2022 C/3B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Macomb, MI who attends De La Salle Collegiate. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and some present strength to frame, additional room to grow moving forward. Ran a 7.21 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, comes out of crouch quickly, can implement additional footwork into release, shorter arm action on throws with a quick transfer out of glove, worked around the bag with throw, shows a feel for mechanics. Arm strength plays across the infield, stays shorter through the back, hands work nicely out front and shows sound mechanics. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow in the box; utilize a small stride moving forward into contact. Low effort trigger, shows quickness to hands with easy jump off of the barrel. Hands work well to get the barrel out front and work to pull side, occasionally gets too inside the ball with hands, incorporates hips well mechanically. Very good student.
