Charlie Bogan is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Overland Park, KS who attends St. Thomas Aquinas. Recorded a 7.61 second 60 yard dash time. Lean and wiry frame with plenty of physical development remaining. Primary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a small leg lift and comes from an over the top slot. Repeats the delivery well, fastball showed tailing and sinking action at times. Struggled with control/command in this look, flashed a curveball with nice 11-5 shape and plenty of depth, will continue to gain bite as he throws it harder. Secondary outfielder with good footwork and approach, fields the ball cleanly with some twitch to his actions. Carries his momentum into the throw well, uphill thrower with developing arm strength at present. Right-handed hitter with a narrow and square stance. Swung on an uphill plane during BP, first move is to drop the back elbow, has some quickness in the hands with developing strength. Bat speed will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Contact-oriented approach with present barrel awareness in game. Great student.
