Jacob Norris is a 2020 LHP/1B with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Duvall, WA who attends Cedarcrest HS. Long and slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. Full hands over the head windup with a fast pace, long arm action in back coming to a high 3/4's arm slot, arm is loose and whippy out front. Mid-70's fastball, topped out at 76 mph, gets some arm side running life. Curveball was his best pitch, has very good feel for the pitch and shows some 1/7 bite and depth, can throw it to different locations in and out of the zone. Left handed hitter, starts with low deep hands and a back toe tap load, raises up through contact, hits to all fields. Showed good athleticism defensively at first base during the games. Will keep improving as he adds additional strength. Good student.
