Nolan McLane is a 2020 2B/SS with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Notre Dame Preparatory. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.53 seconds. Hits from open stance with wrapped barrel to start, middle-opposite fields approach, show barrel skills, linear path through zone, covers the plate, comfortable working the other way, length to stroke at times. Worked out in the infield, hands work well out front, clean funnel in that direction, moves laterally with balance, clean transfer, comes in on ball well, clocked up to 73 mph on throws across the diamond. Very good student.
