Ignacio Rosales is a 2020 SS/RHP, MIF, UT with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Mandeville, LA who attends Fontainebleau. Medium and lean frame with room to fill. Ran a 7.50 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield with a deliberate actions, fields the ball out in front, could carry more weight into his throws across for additional arm strength and carry, transfer is clean and will continue to improve with reps. Secondary righthanded pitcher and graded out best on the mound, starts his delivery with a side step up to a belt high leg lift, takes his arm back to a long arm action up to a high ¾ arm slot, clean hip turn, strides online, works well with his upper half lower half staying in sync, fastball topped out at 77 mph with life to armside frequently, has a feel to spin with a late breaking 11-5 curveball. Righthanded hitter, spread out stance, uses a bat waggle at load, sits on his backside and will need to transfer weight for more pop off of the barrel, uphill swing plane with rotational actions. Good student.
