Benjamin Ableman is a 2020 2B/3B/SS with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Santa Barbara, CA who attends Dunn HS. Medium and lean frame with some room to fill. Ran a 7.20 second 60 yard dash. Primary second baseman, worked out in the infield rounding the baseball well, fields the baseball bending at the waist, flashed athleticism working to and through the ball, hands are playable and he exchanges the ball to his hand cleanly, releases from a 3/4 arm slot with developing arm strength. Lefthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a spread out stance, utilizes a big leg kick trigger into contact, wraps bat at load, swings with intent creating bat speed through the hitting zone, works the ball best when seeing the baseball all the way into the barrel, will continue to improve with additional strength and refinement.
