Daniel Paz is a 2021 LHP with a 5-10 152 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Reedy. Lean high waisted build. Simple leg raise delivery on the mound, arm is loose and fluid coming through, gets good extension out front on release, uses his lower half well to create drive to the plate, repeats his mechanics well. Upper 70's fastball, mostly straight with some riding action up in the zone, has the ability to spot the ball around the zone and works ahead effectively with his fastball. Curveball is a solid second pitch for him, has some sharpness and bite to it and he dropped it into the strike zone for strikes well. Strike thrower who challenges hitters. Good student.
