Michael Jacoby is a 2020 RHP/2B with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Bonita Springs, FL who attends St. John Neumann HS. Tall lean athletic build. Ran a 7.12 sixty. Stretch only on the mound. Showed smooth mechanics and a clean delivery with present athleticism in delivery. Utilizes a belt high leg lift Throws with a full arm action from a three-quarter arm slot. Drop and drive lower half mechanics. Flashed fastball with impressive arm side run topping out at 77 miles per hour. Showed a lot of room for added velocity with added strength. Also showed a sharp tight breaking ball topping out at 69 miles per hour. Showed ability to field position as well. Very projectable on the mound with added strength. Right handed hitter. Displayed an upright stance with high hand and back elbow set up. Showed a loose swing with good extension as well as good bat speed. Utilized a line drive pull side approach. Flashed developing power to the pull side. Also worked out in the infield. Showed good arm strength topping out at 75 miles per hour. Displayed ability to get glove to ball well during workouts as well.
