Alex Caudill is a 2019 RHP/MIF/3B with a 5-10 205 lb. frame from St Joseph, MO who attends Central HS. Strong and thick athletic build, pretty mature physically. Works from the stretch with a deliberate delivery pace, good gather over the rubber, over the top arm slot, front side tends to open early coming to the plate leaving his arm behind occasionally. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, will get cutting action due to his early front side. Curveball has tight spin and late biting action with downer 12/6 shape, stays on top of it well. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a late hand load, minimal weight shift, hits to all fields. Good student.
