Blake Benoit is a 2022 2B/RHP, 3B, SS with a 5-8 185 lb. frame from Wake Forest, NC who attends Wake Forest. Medium frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard ash in 7.53 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with toe-tap trigger, quick hands, generates leverage off of front side, physical strength stands out, can drive the ball pull-side, retains whole-field approach, solid hitting tools overall. Worked out in the infield, hands work really well out front, hands stand out, shows one-step range with some twitch, clocked up to 77 mph on throws across. Also pitched, compact through the back with some quickness to arm stroke, fastball worked 71-78 mph, shows some arm side run and sink on the pitch, did a fair job of throwing strikes.
