2019 Pitcher/Catcher Showcase
Brett Bulkeley is a 2020 C with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Leawood, KS who attends Blue Valley HS. Lean athletic build. Even low set up behind the plate. Showed good hands with quick transfers and good arm strength topping out at 74 miles per hour while posting a 2.02 second pop time. Right handed hitter. Utilizes a upright slightly open stance with a toe tap trigger. Employs a rotational power approach. High effort swing with good bat speed. Showed the ability to drive the ball to the pull side with authority. Showed developing barrel control with some solid contact to all parts of the field. Good student.
