Dekker Smith is a 2021 OF/1B with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Suisun City, CA who attends Vanden. Large to Extra-Large frame with a physical build about him. Ran a 6.91 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, showing great first step instincts as he was fundamental in his footwork. Gathers to the side before working into transfers. Whip to the arm showing as he threw it 86 mph with accuracy during drills. Secondary First Baseman, sitting back on the baseball as he makes sure he keeps it in front of him. Confident with the glove as he shuffled into transfers. Proper footwork showing and was accurate with the glove. Right-Handed Hitter, starting open while sitting on his backside. Looked to utilize his strong hands to generate bat whip through the zone. Proved to have easy juice to the pull-side and created very loud contact when he found the barrel.
