Tate Taylor is a 2021 SS/3B/2B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Okarche, OK who attends Kingfisher HS. Medium frame with a lean build. Projects to support additional size and strength. Primary shortstop, athletic lower half actions while ranging for the baseball. Read hops well and showed clean glove actions while funneling. Created some carry across the infield and produced accurate throws topping at 77 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a slightly crouched, open stance and simple front side trigger. Worked to contact with rotational lower half actions. Deeper hand load and work to contact on a loose path. Utilized a line drive barrel plane and showed good balance throughout swing. Primarily worked to the middle of the field and pull side, but flashed the barrel feel to work the other way as well. Excellent student.
