William Johnson is a 2025 OF/LHP with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Watkinsville, GA who attends Oconee County. Nice athletic body with some present strength and room for plenty more. 6.98 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, works through the ball well with a big crow hop into his release, gets on top of his throws well for on line carry and long one-hop accuracy, solid arm strength. Left handed hitter, has an active hand load that is well timed, short stride into contact, pretty short to the ball, hits the ball out front with solid impact and occasional leverage, was consistent in his load and timing, showed his pull power potential. Also pitched, works from a high 3/4's arm slot that creates good downhill angle to the plate. Steady mid-80's fastball, mostly straight, showed some feel for a mid-70's breaking ball that broke under hitter's hands well. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Georgia Tech.
