2019 PG Fall Top Prospect National Showcase
Jack Speights is a 2020 3B/2B, UT with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from Clearwater, FL who attends Calvary Christian School. Recorded a 7.08 second 60-yard dash time. Large, physical frame with good athleticism throughout as well. Primary third baseman with good present arm strength recorded up to 86 mph across the diamond. Moves well and rounds the ball nicely. Funnels are solid to either side. Good footwork and has the potential to be an asset at third base. Secondary righthanded pitcher who worked well within the strike zone. Three-quarters arm slot with three pitches for strikes. Lands the changeup well and fills the strike zone up. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and fast hands. Whippy barrel head and gets the barrel through well. Creates leverage out in front of the plate and can turn on the ball well. Swings with intent and generates good bat speed and impact which will portend future power. Tremendous student. Named to the 2019 PG Fall TP National TP List.
