Andrew Thacker is a 2022 RHP/SS with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Ball Ground, GA who attends Creekview. Medium and lean frame with room to fill. Ran a 7.56 second 60 yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, low effort delivery only from the stretch, long and loose arm action through the back up to a high 3/4 arm slot, strides online down the mound. Fastball topped out at 71 mph with frequent cutting action, mixes in a curveball with good depth to the pitch, flashes a changeup with similar cutting life as the fastball, fills up the zone with a three pitch mixture. Secondary infielder, graded out best in the infield with sound hands and longer actions, showed the ability to throw from multiple angles while topping out at 72 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, wide base stance, long swing with a long finish too, drops the bat head and extends through contact, young bat speed that will continue to improve with maturity. Great student.
