Drew Aspillera is a 2020 C/ with a 5-10 225 lb. frame from Foster City, CA who attends Hillsdale. Primary catcher with big and strong frame. Sits down in a low stance and shows the ability to put the ball on the bag with throws down. At the plate, works from a spread and crouched stance with a rotational lower half. High back elbow leads to a direct hand path and line drive barrel plane. High contact approach and solid feel for the barrel with a lot of line drives. Has some bat speed and strength, showed a high motor hustling out an infield single in game action.
