Francisco Espinoza is a 2023 2B/RHP/SS with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends Lakewood Ranch. Recorded a 7.46 second 60 yard dash time. Small frame and lean build with developing strength. Primary second baseman that moves well laterally and shows smooth footwork. Hands were soft with a good funnel to the body. Right-handed hitter with a bent knee stance and big leg lift trigger. Hands stay tight to the body throughout the swing. Mid-field, contact-oriented approach with a line drive plane. Shows good barrel control, power will improve as he gets stronger. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a simple and repeatable delivery. Fastball had some arm side run, maintains a good line with the target. Shows clean arm action, threw the fastball to both sides of the plate for strikes. Excellent student.
