Luke Cantu is a 2018 C/UT, SS with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Floresville, TX who attends Poth High School. Medium build with a lean frame and room to continue to fill out and add strength. Posted a 6.96 time in the 60 yard dash and moved well down the line. Primary catcher, showed developing arm strength and a longer arm action with a top pop time of 1.99. At the plate, started with a wide base with active hands with a toe tap timing mechanism. Simple hand load with a compact swing path and some hand quickness that would see improvement with lower half incorporation.
