Chandler Pittman is a 2021 OF/2B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Magee, MS who attends Magee. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Quick-twitch, ran a 6.61 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front and takes shorter steps to the ball, upper body dominant release, longer arm action through the backside, shows developing footwork and can continue to implement additional lower half into release, showed a good first step in live action to cover lots of ground. Righthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a smaller leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Starts with hands pulled back slightly, stays short to the ball and keeps hands inside well, employs a contact oriented approach. Worked the middle and pull side parts of the field, patient approach and gets the barrel through the zone well, projects with additional extension out front at point of contact. Very good student.
