Hunter Fromm is a 2018 RHP/SS with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Amagansett, NY who attends East Hampton. Medium frame with lean, wiry present build and plenty of projectable room for growth remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.91 seconds. Primary pitcher, good tempo to delivery, gets online well with lower half, slight crossfire, throws from extended 3/4 arm slot, FB worked 74-80 MPH with solid life to the arm side. Showed slider with sweepy, big break; good horizontal shape. Good feel for changeup, replicates arm speed and generates solid tail. Mixes pitches well and keeps hitters off balance. Sets up to hit with narrow stance, high hand set, consistently hit the ball back up the middle, some feel for the barrel with ability to match plane. Worked out in the infield, has range to both sides, short steps with balance, fields out front, accurate across the diamond up to 80 MPH. Very good student.
