Bayne Johnson is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Beaver Dam, WI who attends Beaver Dam HS. Medium frame, slender build, room to fill out physically as he puts on additional strength. Ran a 7.61 60-yard dash. From the outfield, fields the ball in front solid actions, long over the top arm action, showed some arm strength. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a very open stance. Small load, pull side approach, generates some lift at the point of contact, uses lower half, gets extension through the baseball. On the mound, throws from a 3/4 arm lost, medium arm action, developing lower half, fastball has some cutting action down in the zone. 11/5 curveball shape with big break. Good student.
