Zachary Moore is a 2019 RHP/2B/3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends Mehlville HS. Strong athletic build, pretty mature physically. Simple low hand delivery, works from the first base side of the rubber, 3/4's arm slot, easy delivery to repeat. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, can sink it down in the zone or elevate it with intent on slider counts. Hard spin on side with big sweeping depth, will lower his release slot on his slider at times. Couple of change ups dove hard, potential solid third pitch. Threw strikes with all his pitches and was very effective. Showed his arm strength well in defensive drills with third base actions and very good arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base and tends to stay on his back side, has strength at contact when he's on time and the barrel is out front, line drive swing plane. Polished pitcher who should be immediately successful at the next level.
