Ari Arteaga is a 2020 OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Christopher Columbus. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, present strength and still projects with additional room to fill throughout. Quick-twitch muscle, posted a 6.69 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball with short and quick steps, generates nice momentum towards intended base with crow hop, short arm action through the back and shows quickness, works over front side and shows carry to throws. Righthanded hitter, begins with a narrow stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Upper body dominant swing and can continue to implement additional lower half moving into contact. Utilizes an all fields and approach and executes well, linear stroke through the zone with line drive contact coming off, shows present bat speed with extension and generates jump off the barrel when squared. Very good student. Named to Junior National Top Prospect List.
