Najib Ruiz is a 2017 RHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Doral Academy Charter. Has a medium frame, athletic build, room to fill out physically as he continues to put on additional muscle. Primary right-handed pitcher, has a balanced and upright delivery, simple and slower paced windup, clean and long arm action from an over the top arm slot, generates good downhill plane from arm slot. Fastball has good life, works low in the strike zone. Curveball has 12/6 shape showing sharpness and break. Flashed a changeup with some fading action low in the zone. Good student.
