Austin Brown is a 2020 OF/RHP, 1B, UT with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Ola. Medium and projectable frame with room to fill moving forward. Ran a 7.05 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, took reps sitting back on the baseball, arm stays compact and close to body at take back leading into his release, could work on gaining momentum to his target at release for additional arm strength, average arm strength from his primary outfield position, topped out at 75 mph from the outfield. Also took reps in the infield, graded out best at the position, clean hands fielding the baseball, shuffles into release getting the ball out quickly, showcased the ability to throw from multiple arm angles, similar arm strength as in the outfield. Righthanded hitter, sets up to hit with a narrow base and hands that stay close to his body, upper half dominant swing with rotational actions, takes an inside hand path to the baseball, quick bat looking to pull and lift. Good student.
