Cade Laudenschlager is a 2017 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Cave Creek, AZ who attends Cactus Shadows HS. Has a large frame a strong build, shows signs of present strength. Posted a 7.78 60-yard dash. From the infield, showed good hands and actions. Fluid arm actions on throw with solid arm strength getting up to 80 MPH. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with wide base and a hand set close to the body. Leg lift load with solid weight shift into contact. Developing timing mechanism with good raw strength, carries well when barreled, good bat speed. On the mound, throws from a 3/4 arm slot with clean arm action in back. Slider has tight break with limited depth. Curveball has 11/5 shape with solid downward plane. Works changeup low in the zone. Good student.
