Rob Allgood is a 2019 C/1B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Madison, GA who attends Piedmont Academy. Recorded a 7.04 second 60-yard dash time. Medium build with some present physicality on the frame but room for more. Primary catcher with online throws and limited ground gained. Upper body dominant throwing mechanics and arm strength recorded up to 70 mph. Righthanded hitter with good rhythm throughout the swing. Brings hands directly to the barrel quickly. Contact-oriented approach with solid foundational offensive tools. Downhill swing plane and consistently on time. Performed well in game showing gap-to-gap strength with a line drive approach that worked well. Tremendous student.
