Hank Brown is a 2018 OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from New Braunfels, TX who attends New Braunfels HS. Brown has a medium sized frame with a lean build. He showed some arm strength up to 80 MPH from the outfield using a short arm action. Brown has solid feet to the baseball and works through the ball. He has a longer transfer and made accurate throws. Brown also worked out on the infield and fields with a wide base and has developing infield actions. At the plate he starts with a slight crouch and uses a knee lift trigger to start his swing. He has a wide base and has a simple set up to the baseball. He has a rotational swing and showed some hand quickness. There's more hitting ability there with some adjustments to his approach. Brown pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a short arm actiohn. He has a slower paced delivery and gets some down plane. Good student.
