Lionexis Rodriguez is a 2017 C/RHP/3B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Aguada, PR who attends S.U. Epifanio Estrada. Thick and strong build. Right handed hitter, high leg lift trigger, strides out with is front side and will get over spread at times, complicated timer, keeps his hand path short to the ball and uses his upper half strength well, has good feel for the barrel and makes contact, will show occasional pull and lift ability, has potential to keep improving as a hitter. High set behind the plate, full long arm action, has some arm strength, 2.01 best pop time, 2.30 in the game on the bag, can improve lower half quickness and shifting. Good student.
