Jake Lenberger is a 2025 RHP/3B with a 6-3 178 lb. frame from Mead, WA who attends. Features a taller lean build with some projection. Ran a 5.32 40-yd dash. In the INF, showed light feet that help set his body into good fielding posture. Operates low to the ground that set his hands/glove early and out front that field it soft at reception. Fielded the backhand clean but just didn't come through it. Solid exchange quickness out the glove and to release. Used a shorter arm action that got off throws with avg. strength with accuracy and flashed the ability to change up slots/angles if needed. Fits more of a corner profile, most likely 3B. At the plate, he sits in a more spread stance with his hands keeping his bat flat to his shoulder. Basically no lower half use/engagement where his upperhalf sways from his backside to his front side minimizing good rhythm and some power. Hands flashed some quickness/strength but they push the barrel through at times especially when he's on his front side causing some steepness but got away with it when out front. Best contact in his round were quality LDs/FBs to the pullside. On the mound, he side steps into a higher upper-chest knee lift. As the lift comes down he syncs it with good drift down the mound with a smaller sit in driveleg. Arm works a bit stabby in the back and up to a normal 3/4 slot. Lands on-line but with a softer finish. He ran the FB up to 81, living in the upper 70s. Mixed in a CB and SL that somewhat blended at times both showing slurvy type shape. Mixed in a CH as well that is a developing secondary he has feel for. Named to Top Prospects List.
